In the second semester, we were divided into different groups depending on our critical review presentation. I am in the Studio Mood group, which represents the atmospheric design and how the atmosphere affects our mood and feelings.
As a starting point, I started reading some chapters from the Atmosphers book by Peter Zumthor and other articles that have been suggested by my tutor to understand the atmospheres better. My main interest is lighting, and I wanted to represent my home country Palestine using lighting in a cultural building or something similar, but at that time, I couldn't yet decide what project is would be.
I was excited to start this semester and scared at the same time as they told us it was the most stressful semester in the MA year.
