After challenging attempts to use the Dialux program, I did a detailed lighting analysis for the corridor zone, I will summarise some of it here.
These photos depict the general analysis of the zone, it shows how much lux is needed per meter for a gallery room with the used lighting units to illuminate the artworks properly, “Lighting calculation programs calculate the lighting effects caused by specific luminaires in specific rooms at specific points”. (Karlen and Benya, 2004:156).
It was difficult for me to reach a specific amount of light for different goals in the same place, for example, here we can see this analysis for the needed lighting for oil paintings.
While this is for sculptures that need an additional amount of light than the previous one.
